We have always been passionate about food and cooking, with our love for the culinary arts beginning at a young age. After college, we gained valuable experience working in restaurants and the fast-food industry in managerial positions. About 12 years ago, we decided to pursue our dreams by enrolling in Culinary Arts programs, which we completed within a couple of years. Our aspiration was to become culinary instructors and open our own cooking school. Since then, we have enjoyed extensive experiences working behind the scenes in various kitchens and managing restaurant openings. Catering to friends and family marked the beginning of our small business journey.
Our passion for cooking has taken us on numerous travels, both domestically and internationally. During these trips, we always make it a point to book food tours and cooking classes in every country we visit. Immersing ourselves in different culinary traditions and cultures has enriched our understanding of global cuisines and inspired us to share these experiences in our classes. A couple of years ago, we took a significant step by returning to school to become certified Integrative Nutrition Coaches through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Our goal is to deepen our knowledge of food nutrition and to cater to individuals seeking a healthier lifestyle and those with special dietary needs.
In the same year, we also became certified Culinary Nutrition Instructors from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition in Canada. This certification has equipped us with the skills to teach others about the powerful relationship between food and health. At Blissful Plates, we are dedicated to sharing our culinary expertise and nutritional knowledge to help our clients lead healthier, more vibrant lives. Our diverse classes and personalized services reflect our commitment to making the joy of cooking accessible to everyone, regardless of their dietary restrictions or health goals.
